It was published a regular number of quarterly scientific-practical magazine “Foreign policy and diplomacy of Turkmenistan” prepared for publication by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country. The edition was published in Turkmen, Russian and English languages.
One of the publications of the number was devoted to the 18th anniversary of the Neutral status delegated to our country by the Community of Nations on the basis of the Resolution of the UN General Assembly passed on December 12, 1995 “Permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan”. Readers of the magazine will be also able to familiarize with the articles prepared by the special envoy of Prime minister of the Great Britain for development of trade relations Mr. Charles Hendry, the head of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for CIS countries and Eastern Europe Mr. Ivailo Valev.
In the regular number of publication, it was presented the articles under conspicuous headlines “Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Ukraine in the sphere of education”, “Developing good traditions of the cultural cooperation”, “Historic pages of the Turkmen-Armenian relations”, “International cooperation of Turkmenistan in the field of sports”, “Important role of museums in development of cultural ties”. Under the heading “Page of the young scientist”, it was placed the publication about fruitful interaction of Turkmenistan with one of the largest international organizations - Non-Aligned Movement, uniting 120 states of the world on the principles of nonparticipation in the military alliances.
“Chronicle of diplomatic life” is the name of heading, which keeps brief reviews of meetings and negotiations at different levels, sessions of joint working groups, consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs as well as international seminars and conferences held in Ashgabat and abroad. A regular number of the magazine is completed with related items of official documents – Decrees and Resolutions of the President of Turkmenistan on opening of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Republic of Korea, consulate of Turkmenistan in Republic of Kazakhstan (Aktau) as well as on appointment of the heads of diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan in Japan, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Georgia.
