The Turkmen pupils won two silver and seven bronze medals at the 10th International Zhautykov Olympiad in mathematics, physics and computer science, which took place in Almaty.

Young worshippers of exact disciplines from our country traditionally participate in this intellectual marathon, which is annually held by the Republican specialized physico-mathematical secondary boarding school named after O. Zhautykov for gifted children with support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Republic of Kazakhstan. In this year, four hundred pupils from 17 world countries became the participants of this prestigious contest. Among them are also fifteen representatives of Turkmenistan. Nine of them have reached the final in keen competition.

In these winter days, another two young Turkmen experts became the owners of the special Diplomas according to the results of their participation in the Open Russian Mathematical Internet-Olympiad of the schoolchildren. This virtual competition was organized by the physico-mathematical department of St. Petersburg Academy of Postgraduate Pedagogic Education and MetaSchool “Information technologies”.
