The team of Turkmen women tennis players was qualified for the playoff of the Federation Cup of the Asia/Oceania Zone Group II. Our sportswomen achieved this success leading in Group C in the team competitions taken place in Astana, Kazakhstan.
13 teams divided into four groups, in particular Group A - Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam; Group B - the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka; Group C - Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iraq; Group D - India, New Zealand, Iran and Pakistan compete for the qualification for the first group zone of Asia and Oceania of the 52nd Fed Cup tournament.
The team of Turkmenistan represented by Champion of the country Anastasiya Prenko, Jahan Bayramova, Guljahan Kadyrova and Jennet Hallyeva defeated Iraq 2-1 in the first match and decisively defeated Kyrgyzstan 3-0 in the second match.
The duet A. Prenko - D. Hallyeva defeated E. Botalieva - A. Lazareva (Kyrgyzstan) 6-1, 6-1.
