The Turkmen delegation in the composition of the teachers of four higher educational establishments of our country – Medical and Agricultural Universities, Institutes of transport and Communication, World Languages named after D. Azadi returned from educational trip, which took place during three weeks in Poland and Spain.
Polish, Spanish and Turkmen colleagues are united with joint project of the Program of the European Union “TEMPUS” aimed at development of educational program on telemedicine for Turkmenistan and training of highly-qualified national specialists in this sphere.
At the final stage of the project, it is planned to create the laboratory on telemedicine at the Medical University and the Institute of Transport and Communication. Agrarian higher educational establishment considered the experience of telemedicine in the context of training of specialists in the field of veterinary science, and the Institute of World Languages named after Azadi provides the language support of the project. Its specialists also work at compiling of dictionary of relevant expressions.
Rich program of working trip envisaged the development of curriculum and teaching materials for future national laboratories and resource centers on telemedicine. Specially organized visit to the hospitals in Madrid, Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Poland served for enrichment of professional knowledge of the Turkmen teachers. On the basis of them, it was held the training seminar on fundamentals of telemedicine.
