The representatives of the geological faculty of the International Oil and Gas University held the scientific-practical conference on issues of development of the national geology. Peculiarity of this forum is that all scientific information there was in the English language. It was delivered the reports devoted to the geological prospecting beginning from geophysical researches up to realization of drilling works, study of composition and qualities of oil- and gas-containing rocks, history of origin and development of the sector and others.

At that, the reports were presented in the format of colorful presentations with use of innovative information technologies. Even lively theme discussion expanded in the course of consideration of reports was conducted by the teachers and students in the English language knowing of which will undoubtedly assist the professional communication of future specialists, improvement of their competence and scientific horizons.
