First matches of the 7th round of the football championship of Turkmenistan among major league clubs have taken place. In capital “Ashgabat” stadium the football players of “Ashgabat” team received the “Talyp sporty” team. Ashgabat football players that were recently leading the draw, has experienced the frustration of defeat during last tree matches and rolled down to the seventh position. “Talyp sporty” team, on the contrary, won “Bagtyyarlyk-Lebap” team in previous round – 1:0 and in case of success in forthcoming match had all chances to overtake “Ashgabat”.
Over a period of all match both teams tried to break the course of game on their own favour. But nevertheless they couldn’t break each other’s gates, having earned 1 point each to their active. As a result “Ashgabat” team with 8 points remained on seventh position, and “Talyp sporty” – with 5 points is on eighth position.
In another match, that took place in Turkmenabat, met “Bagtyyarlyk-Lebap” and “Dashoguz” - teams at the bottom of the draw. Having scored by one goal in each time “Bagtyyarlyk-Lebap” gained the first victory at the championship – 2:0.
In connection with preparation of the national team of Turkmenistan to the final tournament of the AFC Challenge Cup, that will take place on May 19-30 in Maldives, the rest of matches of the seventh round were transferred to April 22.
