The Days of Culture of the Republic of Armenia are taking place in Turkmenistan. An exhibition of the paintings created by the artists from the friendly county was opened in the framework of the cultural action at the State Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan on April 9.

The exposition consists of forty eight paintings created by thirteen artists representing modern Armenian fine art. Visitors to the exhibition will discover a variety of styles, trends and genres in which Armenian painters fruitfully work today.


Cultural and art workers of Armenia performed a concert at the Watan cinema and concert centre in Ashgabat. Its programme included wonderful folk melodies and songs, classical and popular music, dance compositions.

Moviegoers got an opportunity to watch the films created by Armenian cinematographers in different years.
