To the issues of further advancement of the international initiative «Schools, friendly to children» in Turkmenistan have been devoted a forum taken place in the capital under the aegis of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and office of Children's fund of the United Nations in our country. Round-table meeting hosted national experts and leading workers of the sphere of education, specialists of the national parliament, representatives of a series of ministries and departments of the country, social organizations.

One of the major directions of joint efforts became introduction of the international initiative «Schools, friendly to children» into system of an educational complex of the country. Working out of own model of a certified package by Turkmen experts became one of themes of the meeting.

Within framework of this event, solemn awarding ceremony of such certificate to several high schools located in the capital and provinces of the country has taken place. In general, nearly three tens of schools in Turkmenistan are the owners of the international certificate «Schools, friendly to children».
