The 11th round of the Premier League Football Championship of Turkmenistan finished. Three matches were held in Ashgabat. The leaders in the national tournament Altyn Asyr FC and the outsiders Dashoguz FC held the match at the Kopetdag stadium.
As was expected, the two-time winners of the Turkmenistan President’s Cup Altyn Asyr FC dominated the match. As in the first round match, Altyn Asyr FC scored three unanswered goals in the net of their opponents, which brought them the fifth consecutive victory and the seventh victory since the beginning of the championship.
Five goals were scored in each of the two matches held at the Ashgabat stadium. In the first match, Ashgabat FC, who lost 0-1 in the first half of the match, came from behind to beat 4-1 Bagtyyarlyk FC from Lebap. In the second match, the winners of the Turkmenistan Cup and the Turkmenistan Super Cup Ahal FC defeated 5-0 Talyp sporty FC and thus continued the seven-match winning streak.
The match in Balkanabat between the vice champions and winners of the AFC President’s Cup Balkan FC and the reigning champions MTTU aroused considerable interest. The first round match between these clubs ended in the victory of the International Turkmen-Turkish University 1-0. This time, the club from Balkan Velayat gained revenge 2-0.
Merv FC and Shagadam FC held the match in Bairamali Etrap. The club from Mary, who had lost 0-2 in the first round match, which was held in Turkmenbashi, scored a goal at the beginning of the match. Shagadam FC scored a goal just before leaving for a break. The pinpoint shot in the middle of the second half brought victory 2-1 to Merv FC.
