The 60-kilometre horse marathon was organized in the Turkmen capital on occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day.

Over 30 Ahalteke horses at four to twelve years of age took part in the marathon that included two stages of 30 kilometers each.

The ceremony of awarding the winners of the marathon on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan will be held within the framework of the festivities on occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day.
