Turkmen-Croatian top level talks are to be held in Ashgabat on April 29. President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipovic arrived in Turkmenistan for an official visit a night before to participate in the talks.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Ivo Josipovic are expected to exchange views on a wide range of issues of mutual interest and identify new priorities for cooperation.

It is expected that emphasis will be placed on the possibilities of implementing mutually beneficial joint projects to promote the leisure industry and tourism.

Particular attention is to be paid to the mechanisms to be elaborated to diversify trade and economic relations that the Intergovernmental Turkmenistan-Croatia Commission for economic cooperation is to significantly facilitate. Discussion will focus on intensification of cultural and humanitarian contacts that give the two peoples a unique opportunity to share the rich cultural experience accumulated over the millennia.
