The matches of the regular twelfth round of the football championship of the clubs of the high league of Turkmenistan were held.
The match held in the International Turkmen-Turkish University where the acting football champions of this higher educational establishment met the leading team “Altyn asyr” without any lose, evoked a heightened interest. In the first round the ITTU happened to be an only club which could hold upper hand over the two-fold holder of the cup of the president of Turkmenistan “Altyn asyr” with a draw – 1:1. The response math was also very hot. Already at the 4th minute “Altyn asyr” opened the score. But in the mid of the second time the hosting team could secure a penalty and ended the match as – 1:1. This score remained unchanged almost in the entire second match. When one minute was left for completion of the main time, an accurate pass secured the victory for Altyn asyr team with a score of 2:1. After it already gaining eighth victory successively the winner has gathered 31 scores.
Following closely the leading team “Akhal “ team suffered second failure yielding to the team “Shagadm” in Turkmenbashy city with a score of – 0:2. After this game “Akhal” team fell behind “Altyn asyr team by 7 scores and “Shagadam” team with its 23 scores strengthened its position at third place.
The fourth line on the tournament table with 21 scores “Marv” team keeps its position firmly and thanks to the four goals at the second match it help an upper hand “Bagtyarlyk-Lebap” team in Turkmenabat with a score of – 5:1.
Unexpected results were fixed in other two matches. In Ashgabat the team “Talyp sporty” playing short-handed seized scores from the vice-champion of Turkmenistan and holder of the Cup of the president of the Asian football confederation “Balkan” with a score – 0:0. And in the administrative centre of the northern region of the country the team “Dashoghuz” owing to the realization the penalty four minutes before the final whistle escaped defeat in the match against “Ashgabat” team with a score 1:1 and gained first score in the championship.
