Sports school was opened in Garavekil village of Babadaykhan etrap in Akhal province. Facility was erected by local private enterprise to the order of Capital construction management of the province.

All essential conditions were created in spacious blocks of new building intended for 350 pupils to hold trainings and competitions. Five sport halls are fitted with gym apparatuses, sporting equipment for trainings in groups on volleyball, basketball, boxing, wrestling and other disciplines. School is provided with autonomous system of heating, conditioning, water – and energy-supply. Cloakrooms, shower cubicles, first-aid post, rooms for recreation are at the service of athletes and coaches.

On the territory of school, there are outdoor volleyball, basketball, track and field grounds, football field, tennis courts and running tracks. Territory of sport township was accomplished, planted with trees and shrubs.

Opening of sports school gathered the representatives of vilayet and etrap administration, social organizations, population of village, elders and youth. The best of builders were awarded with valuable gifts.
