The 18th International Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation between East and West China, which took place in Xian, Shaanxi Province of the People’s Republic of China on May 23-26, provided a platform for holding the International Silk Road Exposition (Silk Road International Expo).
The delegation of our country consisted of the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs specializing in the sectors of light industry, such as the manufacture of readymade garments from domestic textile, carpet making and design, among others.
The Turkmen delegation also participated in the Trade and Tourism Forum of the Silk Road countries.
Silk Road International Expo was covered widely by the mass media in China, and a series about Turkmenistan pavilion were included in the news reports and detailed reportages on its work in the local newspapers and national TV and radio channels.
