Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management held the day of open doors. Over two hundred school-leavers of the secondary professional educational establishments, students of educational center on training of staff as well as boys, who served their time in the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, visited the higher educational establishment.
It was started a meeting in the library of the institute, where heads of departments, deans of the faculties familiarized the young guests with all trends of training at the higher educational establishment. For wider imagination about their possible place of studies, excursions to training centers and auditoriums, lecture halls and specialized labs, sport complex and hostels were organized for potential students of Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management.
The Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management was founded in 2008 as a result of reorganization of the Turkmen Institute of National Economy. Three years later, the higher educational establishment gave a house-warming party in the capital’s “economic township”. Training of specialists is realized in four faculties – economics, finances, management and marketing. There is a faculty for raising the level of skill for specialists of various sectoral departments.
Institute has hostels, which have all conditions for comfortable residence, preparation for lessons, wonderful sport base. Dance group “Gulrukh” - laureate of prize of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and variety group “Bagtiyarlyk ovazlary” were created at the Institute.
