In five cities of the country matches of the regular 17th round of the football championship of Turkmenistan among clubs of the high league took place.
A great interest was evoked by the game in the capital multifunctional stadium Ashgabat between teams Akhal, the holder of the Cup and Super Cup of Turkmenistan and the leader of national championship Altyn Asyr.
With a score of 2:1"Akhal" broke a thirteen match unbeaten streak of Altyn asyr. After this victory Akhal had 33scores and it shortened its fall behind Altyn asyr, two-fold holder of the Cup of the president of Turkmenistan by 4 scores.
33 scores were gained after this tournament by the Turkmenbashi team Shagadam which played a draw 1:1 with “Balkan “ , the holder of the Cup of the Asian football confederation.
"Merv" which met with “Ashgabat” in Bayramaly etrap won with a score 2:1 and as before secures the fourth line on the tournament table.
In other two matches of the seventeenth tournament successes accompanied the guests. In the administrative centre of the northern region of the country the teams "Talyp sporty" thanks to the injury time goal in the first half won "Dashoguz" with a score 1:0. And in Turkmenabat footballers of the International Turkmen-Turkish University scored eleven unrequited goals into the net of the team "Bagtiyarlyk-Lebap".
