The takylatdy championship of Turkmenistan was held in the capital city of Turkmenistan. Representatives from all provinces gathered in the chess school of Ashgabat of the city sports committee. Such significance old intellectual game created by our remote ancestors was organized for the first time.
Takylatdy is very simple in its rules but requires a great concentration of players and skill to guess the action of the opponent. Competition in this game can be organized at any place and it is enough to find 12 objects with convex form, for example –a drinking bowl or just dig out holes in the earth by 6 opposite each other.
The rules of the modern takylatdy were developed by the federation of national games of Turkmenistan. The table for game also includes 12 holes numbered by the system of Atabeg – from one side equal figures and on the other odd figures. In each hole 6 pegs which one should imagine specially. The game continues until on the table none of pegs is left. One, who collects more sports trophies, wins the game.

Kurbantayev from Dashoguz with 16 scores. And third one to triple prize winner S. Jorayev (11 scores) from Lebap province.
The next national competition in takylatdy, duzzum and bash-dash are planned to be held in august. And in November the Cup of Turkmenistan in duzzum will be played in the capital city.
