Exhibition of building materials industry of Republic of Turkey opened today in the capital’s “Sergi koshgi” Center is urged to demonstrate visually high potential of the Turkmen-Turkish business interaction. The forum was organized by Chamber of commerce and industry of Turkmenistan and Turkish “MERIDYEN” Company.
Members of government, officials of the Parliament, ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic representative offices and missions accredited to Turkmenistan, representatives of social organizations, youth of the higher educational establishments and mass media took part in solemn opening ceremony of the forum.
Minister of Economy of Republic of Turkey Nihat Zeibekchi at the head of large delegation of businessmen from different regions of Turkey – Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Mersina and others arrived specially for participation in the exhibition.
Nearly 120 leading Turkish companies interested in expansion of cooperation with Turkmenistan, including such firms as “Civtas”, “Elkay Kimiyasac Maddeler”, “BasakMetal”, “Panel Sistem”, “Turab”, “AFBEnerji”, “AlkanAsya”, “AWPKentEkipman”, “BaharMakina”, “ALFApenPlastik” and others take part in the work of exhibition.
Moreover, nearly four tens of national ministries and departments, cooperating with the Turkish companies in the field of construction and production of buildings materials as well as Turkmen-Turkish Bank and Committee for foreign-economic ties of Turkey presented their stands at the exhibition.
Wide exposition familiarize with the best technical novelties of the Turkish manufacturers, taking leading positions in the field of building materials industry, subjects of construction décor for decoration works of different buildings – industrial enterprises, schools, health centers, offices and dwelling houses. Numerous visitors familiarized with interest with samples of products. These are modern windows and doors, sandwich-panels, construction cables and profiles, parquet and laminated flooring board, transformers, water pumps, sanitary engineering equipment, decoration materials and colors.
Within the framework of forum, the Turkish partners will discuss with Turkmen colleagues new proposals on expansion of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of building materials industry and construction equipment.
