Turkmenistan Kickboxing Championship held at the Galkynysh Sports Complex in Ashgabat completed.
The winners of the competitions organized by the State Committee for Sports jointly with the Ashgabat Sports Committee will represent our country in large international contests. Thus, brothers Shohrat and Shamered Hallyev (63.5-kg and 57-kg weighting categories respectively) coached by Honoured Coach of Turkmenistan Alexander Snagovsky will represent our country at the First Kickboxing World Championship among students to be held in Ufa, the Republic of Bashkortostan on July 12-16.
Summing up the national championship, Ashgabat kickboxers - representatives of the compilex sports school of the Ashgabat Sports Committee coached by Honoured Coaches of Turkmenistan A. Snagovsky and P. Amanov as well as R. Umirov rank the first. Lebap Velayat athletes won two gold medals, and sportsmen from Mary Velayat - one gold medal.
