New vocational schools are to be opened in Mary, Turkmenbashi and Turkmenabat. Two of them will be under the jurisdiction of the State Service of Maritime and River Transport and one – of the Ministry of Public Utilities.

Boys and girls, who will be admitted to the school of public utilities in Mary, the school of maritime transport in Turkmenbashi and the school of river transport in Turkmenabat in the new academic year, will be trained under the 2-2.5-year training programmes in the relevant fields.

With the new academic year, the first set of boys and girls who will be trained in relevant fields, the school will make public utilities to Mary, the average vocational school in sea and river Turkmenbashi average vocational school in Turkmenabat.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan the State Service of Maritime and River Transport and the Ministry of Public Utilities jointly with the Ministry of Education are to draft and approve in the prescribed manner the regulations of the newly established vocational school under their jurisdiction and the curricula and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for consideration.
