Performance of the Turkmen sportsmen at the 7th International Wushu martial art tournament has completed with triumph. It was held in the capital of Georgia – Tbilisi. Our compatriots won 10 medals: 4 – gold, 3 – silver and 3 – bronze. 10 sportsmen represented the national team of Turkmenistan. Each of them returned Motherland with award.
Competition was quite high as over 400 masters from 12 world countries took part in the contests. Medals were played in two disciplines – “sanda” (single combat) and “taolu” (complex exercises). Residents of Turkmenistan performed in junior (under 19 years old) and adult age groups.
