The fourth day of Windsurfing World Cup, which hosted the best sportsmen from 22 countries, was held in “Yelken” yacht club in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza”. The competitions determined the finalists of male group of participants. Besides, the open competitions on national wrestling “goresh”, beach volleyball, football and Frisbee were held on sport grounds of yacht club.
Male composition of participants of Windsurfing World Cup was divided into four groups. In the course of initial race, it was determined two semifinal groups of 12 sportsmen each. Today, it should be revealed the final dozen of windsurfers, who will compete for the first place, and 12 athletes, who will compete for places from 13 to 24.
A day before, among female group of participants of world championship, it was determined the winners and prize-winner of the first round of competitions. Tomorrow, new starts wait for the girls, which can cardinally change the situation on the rankings.
Between successive races of the competition, the participants give masterclasses for local successors of this kind of sport. The trainings of young representatives of children’s sport academy “Yelken” opened at the yacht club with the same name are held here, on the seacoast. Participants of the current World Cup – the residents of Turkmenistan Orazmurad Arnamammedov and Sarykhan Sapayev are at the head of group of successors of sailing sports. Instructors from Bulgaria help in training of young sportsmen.
Within the framework of sport program of these international competitions, it was held the open championship of Turkmenbashi etrap and beach volleyball.
