Reception of documents to the higher and secondary professional educational establishments of the country has been started in Turkmenistan. It will last in Ashgabat and vilayet centers till July 25.
In the current year, 6 thousand 861 students are planned to be received to the higher educational establishments of Turkmenistan. As compared with the last year, it is higher by 761. Moreover, the first intake – 280 students will be held at the International University of Humanitarian Sciences and Development, where the education on 14 specialties will be started from new academic year.
Another major trend of development of education system of the country is the secondary professional education. So, in this year, 37 secondary professional educational establishments of Turkmenistan in accordance with the orders of ministries, sectoral departments, enterprises and organizations will receive 7 thousand 716 persons that is higher by 1194 persons as compared with the last year. Moreover, 970 pupils will study in new professional schools, being opened since current year. Among them are the Turkmenabat river secondary professional school, Turkmenbashi naval secondary professional school, and Secondary professional school of municipal economy in Mary. They are created on the basis of elementary professional schools, where 30 thousand boys and girls will study in 2014-2015 academic year.
Annually, it is expanded the geography of foreign educational establishments, where Turkmen youth get knowledge. As is known, training of envoys of Turkmenistan is realized on the basis of reached intergovernmental agreements on direction of the Ministry of Education of the country, sectoral ministries and departments.
In 2014-2015 academic year, thousands of Turkmen boys and girls will become the owners of student cards of prestigious higher educational establishments of Belarus, China, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Romania, Turkey, Croatia and other foreign states. At that, the international higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan will receive for training the students from different world countries. It is worth mentioning that branch office of the Russian State Oil and Gas University named after I.M. Gubkin, International Turkmen-Turkish University, International Oil and Gas University are functioning in our country. In the current year, International University of Humanitarian Sciences and Development will replenish this list. Education of students will be conducted in the English language on program of bachelors, after yearly education in the department of language training on paid basis.
