The International Exhibition and Saglyk-2014 Scientific Conference organized by the Ministry of Health Care and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of our country in the Turkmen capital closed.
This year, specialists representing 253 companies of 41 countries took part in the prestigious forum. Within three days, health care workers and numerous citizens of Ashgabat and guests to the Turkmen capital visited the Sergi Kosgi Exhibition Centre.
Exhibitors demonstrated their potential in the sphere of production of the most advanced medical equipment, showcased the state-of-the-art medical and diagnostic, laboratory and treatment equipment, as well as various tools, wide range of pharmaceuticals, etc.
Pavilions demonstrating innovative developments, which are applied in various sectors of the scientific and clinical medicine, high computer technologies, special literature, equipment aroused particular interests among health care workers.
Rapidly developing sanatorium and resort infrastructure of Turkmenistan, including the Avaza National Tourism zone represented an interested for visitors and foreign participants of the exposition.
The scientific conference that brought together specialists from many world countries, including heads of scientific and research centres and higher educational institutions, experts, and leading scientists became a platform for exchanging the views on the prospects of fruitful cooperation in the sphere of medicine and medical industry.
15 sectional sessions of the conference focused on the modern trends in the health care sphere, as well as experience of Turkmen and foreign medical workers in solution of various tasks in the health care industry. Over 250 reports were presented and discussed during the sessions. Participants also discussed urgent issues relating to new researches in the sphere of treatment and prevention of various diseases, sanitation and epidemiology, as well as the introduction of innovative technologies and popularization of healthy life style. Particular sections were devoted to maternity and child health protection, natural sources of health, medical education, and sports medicine.
