The final preparations for the beginning of the first academic year are realized in township of new International University of Humanitarian Sciences and Development. Modern educational institution was constructed in the capital by the French construction company “Bouygues” to the order of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
Complex of buildings of new higher educational establishment intended for study of two thousand students – Turkmen youth and citizens of other states is located near Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly and Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Solemn opening ceremony of new higher educational establishment will adorn the Day of knowledge and student youth on September 1. In new university township, the lecture, computer, language and conference halls, auditoriums and e-library will be at the service of students. There is wonderful sport base, canteen, three buildings of comfortable student hostels.
House-warming party is ahead. Selection committee of International University of Humanitarian Sciences and Development works in one of the buildings of the state university. The first owners of student’s card of new higher educational establishment in the current entrance campaign will become 280 boys and girls.
International University will train qualified specialists on fourteen trends of education. Philosophy, sociology, international public law and private law, international relations, journalism, international economy, management, finances, insurance, commerce as well as programming, computer, information and communication technologies.
Youth, who excellently know English language, pretend to the title of students. Excellent training in specialized secondary comprehensive schools, language training course and participation in the international educational programs is behind of many youth.
In the first year, the students will be trained in language department, perfecting and enriching their knowledge of English. Beginning from the next academic year, the list of first-year students will include the university entrants with excellent knowledge of English language, who studying in the language department, successfully passed the special language trials on the basis of tests and then, entrance examinations.
After annual language training, the students will have four-year school of professional training on system of bachelor. It was also envisaged the further stage – two-year magistracy on the basis of requirements of Bolognese process, including the acknowledgement of Turkmen diplomas.
It will be developed the cooperation of International University of Humanitarian Sciences and Development with leading foreign educational centers, including with a view of involvement of teachers. The higher educational establishment realizes the selection of qualified specialists in the field of English language. Among major pretenders to role of tutors of the students are the teachers, having rich experience of work in secondary and higher educational establishments.
