Turkmen kickboxer Pygy Silabov (under 54-kg weighting category) won the first place and Winner’s Belt at the International Tournament in Aktau. Our sportsman coached by Honoured Coach of Turkmenistan Alexander Snagovsky defeated his rival from Kazakhstan, including 2013 World Cup Champion Umar Kazikhanov in the final.


Mekan Amanov (under 67-kg weighting category), who is coached by his father Pirly Amanov, won the silver medal.

At present, Turkmen sportsmen are preparing for another A-class large international tournament - qualifications for the Diamond World Cup, which will take place in Anapa, Russia on September 23-28.
