In these days, it is active sport season in Mary province, which is marked with numerous events, taking place in all towns and etraps of the province. So, a day before, tournaments of vilayet level on weight lifting, volleyball and football were held in Sakarchage etrap and Bairamali. Today, the venue of major sport events in the province became the administrative center of the region and Yoloten.



So, in Mary province, the national team for taekwondo (ITF version) performed a special program, which will be presented at World Championship in Tajikistan. Swimmers tested new pool of Water Sports Complex opened after major repairs and the championship of province on national wrestling and Cup Tournament of Mary region on kayak-paddling and canoeing were held in Yoloten.



Cup Tournament of Mary region on kayak-paddling and canoeing in Yoloten was organized on the occasion of the recent opening of Sport boat racing federation of Turkmenistan. Competitions were held in single class on the distances of 200, 500 and 1000 meters.

Relay race of sport events in Mary province was caught up by sports schools of Murgap and Mary etraps, where the contests on freestyle wrestling, taekwondo (WTF) and other kinds of sport were held.
