The second day of the V International Festival of Gifted Children “Avaza – the Land of Friendship” being held in the Avaza national tourism these days turned to be lavish in creative and sports actions.
In the morning, a series of events took place on the seashore near the Dayanc children’s recreational centre – children flied kites and participated in the competitions entitled “On your marks!”, outdoor team games and humorous tests for agility, dexterity and wit, which involved all young actors in exciting and healthy activities.
Some kind of outdoor art studio appeared on the seashore: those more interested in painting sat at the easel and took brushes and those keen on plastic used sand and seashells to realize their creative ideas.
The ideas of these works were peace and the Motherland that starts with the mother’s embrace, father’s house and, of course, friends. The main theme of these sincere drawings and sand sculptures was wonderful and beautiful Avaza.
Avaza was the main theme of the literary contest as well. Children wrote essays in which they described their impressions about our country, the hospitable Turkmen people, creative discoveries and everything that they had seen and heard at the Festival.
An atmosphere of the seaside resort created a special mood of the creative marathon: children missed no opportunity to swim in the sea or have fun on the swimming pool slides. Circus artists, who entertained children, became the cheer squads of participants in the Festival and accompanied them everywhere.
An exhibition of fine and applied arts and crafts of the Turkmen people was arranged for young artists. It was an interactive exhibition: children could touch the exhibits, try or put them on.
The concert at the amphitheatre of the Dayanc children’s recreational centre became some kind of celebrations with creative gifts. The delegations performed the compositions from their repertoire – folk and pop music, classical works, dances of different peoples of the world and chorographical performances in the spirit of the classical school and modern youth trends.
