Turkmen athletes won silver and bronze medals of the Taekwondo World Championship in Dushanbe. Annamurad Goshaniyazov won the title of the Vice Champion and Goshaniyaz Durdyev took the third place.

As was reported, more than 800 sportsmen representing over 40 world countries participate in the tournament.

Annamurad Goshaniyazov (under 57-kg weighting category) defeated a sportsmen from the Czech Republic in the semifinal, but lost to a rival from Tajikistan in the final.

Goshaniyaz Durdyev (under 51-kg weighting category) competed with nine sportsmen.
