The IX Specialized Commodities Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran opened at the Sergi Köşgi Exhibition Centre in Ashgabat. The economic forum is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan jointly with the Pars Pegah Tejarеt Company, IRI.
The solemn ceremony of opening the exhibition brought together government officials, heads of relevant ministries and departments, diplomatic representations and missions accredited in Turkmenistan, as well as foreign businessmen, representatives of public organisations, Turkmen businessmen, and journalists.
Over 120 participants present their expositions at the forum. Among them are the expositions of the Ministry of Science and Technologies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, IRI Cultural Centre in Turkmenistan, representative office of the Saderat-Iran Bank, as well as numerous companies - producers and suppliers of state-of-the-art construction materials and equipment, machines and engines, vehicles and spare parts, production of mining and chemical industries, home appliances, industrial textiles, food products, etc.
Among exhibitors are the long-term partners of Turkmenistan that successfully proved themselves implementing joint projects in the oil and gas, electric power spheres, chemical industry, construction, agroindustrial complex, water industry, and food industry, as well as new companies specializing in various spheres of the economic activity, which express their interest in exploring the growing Turkmen market.
The exhibition showcases machinery and equipment for large-scale industrial construction projects, construction and finishing materials, polymers and polyethylene products, construction profiles, cables, etc., as well as consumer goods - electrical appliances, sanitary ware, household chemicals.
The exposition is decorated with colorful patterns of traditional Iranian carpets, tapestries, hammered articles, traditional national goods, and many other things that represent the rich history and unique art of the ancient culture of the Iranian people.
