Sports school for 350 pupils was opened in Peasants’ Association named after T. Bairamdurdiyev of Gokdepe etrap in Akhal province.
New building includes the classrooms, spacious halls for trainings and contests on various sport disciplines as well as outdoor sport grounds, where it was organized today the exhibition contests on football, volleyball, tennis and other kinds of sports.
New training and sport institution has all conditions for training in athletics – sprinter-, medium- and long-distance races, long jump, discus throwing and others. It will train the sportsmen in such rare discipline of “queen” of sports as high jump.
Representatives of province and etrap municipalities, Sport Committee, Elders’ Council, numerous residents of village, students and schoolchildren became the participants of the ceremony. Young masters of martial arts performed exhibition program for participants. Variety and choreographic groups of the etrap also prepared the festive concert. It was held the celebration in honor of distinguished builders, who received memorable gifts. On the occasion of opening of new sports school, it was given a sadaka-rite.
