At the working meeting held on August 23, the deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers S. Satlykov reported about fulfillment of all international obligations undertaken by our country on construction of the Turkmen length of Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran railway, which is an important section of “North-South” transport corridor.

Railroad has been reached to the border of Iran and fully ready for exploitation. It was created modern transport and communication infrastructure, corresponding with the world standards. Railway stations, bridges and other concomitant facilities, including dwelling complexes for service staff and others have been constructed along the railroad.

Functioning of “North-South” transport corridor will contribute to the development of the richest natural resources of Balkan land, create numerous working places, provide operative delivery of national economic cargo not only on the territory of our country but also at the continental level that will have positive influence on interregional cooperation.
