It was determined the winners and prize-winners of Taekwondo Championship of Mary province (ITF) among boys and girls under 16 years old.
Over 100 sportsmen, who competed for medals in five disciplines of taekwondo ITF – individual and team events, individual and team tuli (complex exercises) and exhibition duels, took part in the championship.
Team of Mary sports school # 1 was represented by athletes of Orazmyrat Chariyev. Being a young sportsman (15 years old), he establish a reputation as prospective coach. Gaining of the first place by their athletes in team event became a bright confirmation of this fact. The pupils of the sport school have 43 medals. 16 of them are gold.
Concerning the best result in individual event, it also belongs to the representative of team-winner: Rovshan Annayev became the only participant of the competitions, who has distinguished in all disciplines, having won 5 medals – a gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze.
O. Chariyev is one of the best athletes-juniors in taekwondo not only in Turkmenistan, but also entire Asian continent. So, at the Asian Taekwondo Championship ITF held in spring of the current year in the capital of Nepal –Katmandu, besides 5 medals (a gold, 3 silver and a bronze), Orazmurat was acknowledged as absolute winner of championship.
At the beginning of August, the young coach became the owner of bronze medal of World Championship among juniors and adults held in the capital of Tajikistan – Dushanbe.
