Special premiere of the current day became the solemn commissioning ceremony of educational complex with rehabilitation center erected in the capital.
Architecture of complex of this institution for children with disabilities reminds magic palace. It occupies over 53 thousand square meters. The facility was erected by national private enterprise to the order of Capital Construction Management of Ashgabat city municipality. It is noteworthy that together with the specialists of contractor-company, the representatives of the Ministry of health and medical industry of Turkmenistan, Ministry of Education as well as workers of the specialized schools participated in designing of the facility in order that all essential details have been taken into account while construction of the complex for more comfortable treatment and training of children, whose health status doesn’t allow going to ordinary school.
Complex consists of eight corps. One of them includes the rooms of doctors, pharmacy, health-improving center, training-production shops, gym, indoor pool, canteen and others. Other ones – specialized divisions accomplished taking into account psychophysiological peculiarities of children with disabilities: for deaf and hearing-impaired, blind and visually impaired children and others. Residential rooms and classrooms were equipped for them in due way.
Being in the hospitals on the stage of special treatment, the children get an opportunity to continue education in accordance with their possibilities and needs.
Main task of educational complex is inclusive approach to the medical rehabilitation and social adaptation of children with disabilities. For this, there are all essential conditions, latest technologies and equipment. In the treatment and diagnostic block, there are the rooms of light-, electro- and mud therapy, hot wrapping, room of radiologist, ozocerite – paraffin treatment, massage, room for curative gymnastics with apparatuses used by orthopedists for treatment of patients with musculoskeletal system disorder and etc. Moreover, the complex has own laboratories for various tests by means of the latest devices.
In the school, there are also all conditions for training of children in various kinds of sport: indoor hall and outdoor grounds, gym, pool with depth of different level.
The classrooms have been fitted with the leading apparatuses of Swedish, German and Russian production, allowing training with several children simultaneously, controlling the correct pronunciation of sounds by them and etc.
Depending on interest and bents, the children of elder age group will be able to become familiar with one or another profession. In the training-production shops, the girls will be able to test in profession of seamstress, boys - worker of the shoemaking industry, binder, master for repair of apparatuses and household appliances. Besides the shops, there are also studios of artistic creativity, music and dance, training kitchen for future cooks.
Interior of training and dwelling corps for children of preschool age was executed with particular warmth. Flowers are everywhere. It is possible to see them on the doors, beds, jalousies and washstands. Bright cheerful colors will contribute to good spirit of kids. One of essential conditions of successful development of physical and psychological state of children is the stay outdoors. Therefore, there is own playground with park amusement for kids of every corps in the yard of the school, where children can have interesting and useful for health time.
Development of inclusive education system is one of integral trends of reformation and development of national education. Rights of children with disabilities for getting equal rights for qualitative education were consolidated by the legislation of Turkmenistan.
