The representatives of business circles of the world appreciated the quality of Turkmen products presented at the 83rd International Izmir Exhibition, which was held from August 29 to September 7.
At this prestigious and scale multisectoral world-level trade-exposition event, the Turkmen national exposition attracted active interest with particular original color. National entrepreneurs represented here their production – fine ornamental carpets and carpet articles, which can adorn any, the most luxury interior having become not only its original detail, but the subject of common admiration, as well as other samples of folk decorative and applied art in its modern interpretation and industrial goods.
Turkmen exposition was divided into two stands thematically. In one of them, the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan demonstrated a large creative range and business possibilities of present masters – the successors of traditions of artistic crafts. Wonderful collection of their productions vividly showed that cultural heritage of people is inexhaustible resource, including in the field of export of exclusive goods, which are special segment of consumer market, where it is appreciated decorative originality, uniqueness of articles.
Here, our skilled craftsmen have much to strike the imagination of the most exacting public. Magnificent silk carpets excited sincere delight at Izmir Exhibition. They were represented by famous in our country mistress-entrepreneur Orazgul Eyeberdiyeva, participant of many foreign reviews and fairs, where her goods become the subject of intent attention of devotees of “ethics”.
All possible souvenirs on Turkmen folk motives were also represented by “Chapak” Economic Association. “Dunya dane” enterprise gladdened the visitors with amazing tapestries created in accordance with folk plots and reflecting in their artistic stylistics the typical peculiarities of the national art. Collection of the national cloth, women’s dresses with wonderful embroideries, shawls, accessories from entrepreneur Bahargul Chariyeva were of active interest for women. It is worth mentioning that this exhibition hall became one of the most visitable at the exhibition, having served at that for popularization of the Turkmen decorative art.
In parallel, in another hall, where it was exhibited the industrial production manufactured by the private enterprises of Turkmenistan, the meetings and active discussions of the possibilities of establishment of direct business contacts and cooperative ties were held all days of exhibition. For example, “Abrayli onum” enterprise has demonstrated different kinds of furniture to the Turkish and other foreign prospective clients. Collection of home decorations “Brilliant curtains”, particularly executed in the national style, was of great interest for visitors.
Building materials produced by “Turkmenlyuks” Economic Association, means of household chemistry from “Yigit” Economic Association, tanning products of “Maksat deri” EA and others attracted the attention of consumers and suppliers. In a word, the participation of the Turkmen businessmen in Izmir Exhibition allowed demonstrating significant level attained in nongovernmental sector of economy of Turkmenistan on production of competitive goods in the world market.
