The Turkmen - Byelorussian business forum was held in Mizan business centre. The agenda of the forum included the issues of development of efficient cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Belarus, exploration of new areas of cooperation, intensification of relations between business circles of the two friendly countries. The forum was organized by Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan.
The Byelorussian delegation, which included the officials of state institutions, heads of the regional representatives of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, enterprises, manufacturing the equipment for oil and gas, energy, construction sectors, spheres of healthcare, education, transport complex, agriculture and food industry. Among them were “BelAz” open end joint stock association, “Swetopribor” Unitarian Enterprise, “Minsk motor plant”, “Mogilev’s rail carriage building works” joint stock association, “Krasni pishevik” open end joint stock association, “Belgospisheprom” Concern, “Mogoteks” joint stock association and others.
Heads and specialists of core ministries and departments of the country, as well as Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan participated in the forum.
As it was noted, in the last years, it was accumulated positive experience in foreign economic relations with the Republic of Belarus. Wide prospects are opened owing to mutual industrial potential, including expansion of the exported goods. So, the Turkmen side expresses its readiness for export of products of oil and gas industries, petrochemical industry, agriculture, light industry, textile, carpet articles and others.
The forum participants noted that the Turkmen – Byelorussian cooperation is developed and flourished on the basis of mutual trust and mutual beneficial relations.
