The International Exhibition on “The New Development Trends of Turkmenistan’s Power Industry” closed in Ashgabat. The forum has become a platform for the world professional community to learn more about achievement of Turkmenistan’s power industry, economic resources, and investment opportunities in this sphere.
Representatives of 80 foreign companies from France, Turkey, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, Russia, Iran, China, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan took part in the forum. The world power industry leaders, including General Electric (the US), Sсhneider Electrik, Alstom (France), Uralelectroshit, MezhPromTex (Russia), Ethos (UK), Sumitomo (Japan), TBEA (China), Minsk Electrotechnical Plant (Belarus) demonstrated their willingness to continue fruitful, mutually beneficial cooperation in implementing ambitious investment and energy projects in our country.

The two-day international science conference on the development prospects of Turkmenistan’s power industry brought together specialists from the ministries and sector departments and research institutions of our country, top managers of foreign firms and companies, experts and analysts, managers and sales representatives from different countries of the world. Those speaking during the conference covered a wide spectrum of issues, including modernization of the industry infrastructure, modern methods of managing power network, as well as operational reliability, technical and environmental safety.
