The opening of VII International Exhibition of telecommunication, telemetering, information technologies and broadcasting equipment “Turkmentel-2013” and International Scientific Conference was held in Ashgabat. The forum is organized by the Ministry of Communication and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The delegations of more that twenty Eurasian countries represent foreign state structures working in the sphere of communication and broadcasting, leading producers and suppliers of high-technology equipment, developers of advances technologies and services, as well as large international organisations at the forum.
Among them are the world leaders, including THALES Аlenia Space, Nokia, Siemens Networks, Rohde & Schwarz, Hermes, HUAWEI Technologies, Eutelsat SA, Sony Elertronik, Siemens, SICKO, Poliком, Eastwind, MTS Telekom, Sumsung Elektronics, Panasonik, Triax A/S Denmark, ELTI d.o.o., Iskratel, SES Broadband Services, and many other companies.
Leading scientists and experts in the sphere of satellite communication systems from the UK, France, Germany, Denmark, Russia, Japan, China, Korea, Iran, Slovenia, Kazakhstan expressed their interest in the forum.
Members of the government, officials of the ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the country and foreign companies, representatives of the community and mass media took part in the solemn opening ceremony of the International forum “Turkmentel-2014”, being traditionally held in the Sergi Köşgi Exhibition Centre.
The national satellite communication and telecommunication systems, which is establishing in Turkmenistan in compliance with high international standards, determines the essential vector of further development of our state as a key information and communication link for the countries in the region as well as Europe and Asia.
Over 70 exhibitors – national subdivisions of communication and their strategic foreign partners, which successfully implement important state programmes and projects in the sphere of communications and telecommunications, as well as Turkmen entrepreneurs, who have established partner relations with foreign companies and firms, showcase their stands at the exposition.
In the afternoon, International Scientific Conference dedicated to the important issues of development of the industry and further cooperation with interested partners started its work in the conference hall of the Exhibition Center.
