There are also Turkmen residents among army of many thousands of voluntary helpers of XVII Asian Games. They have arrived in Korea within the framework of special program. Their task is the fulfillment of definite duties as well as study of niceties and peculiarities of voluntary work as a whole in order to perform successfully the role of volunteers of V Asian Games in 2017.
Group of helpers from our country includes 30 persons. Among them are the students of the higher educational establishments as well as representatives of Organizing Committee of V Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts. One of most complicated and responsible tasks was entrusted to Mekan Nazarov and Dayanch Akiyev, who are the volunteers in the drug testing.
It is also possible to meet the Turkmen volunteers at the entrance of Athletic service-center, where the participants of Asian Games have an opportunity to hold active spare time between competitions and training process. Enejan Berdiyev and Merjen Gyratliyev are on duty here. They have to explain the work routine of service-center in the Korean, English, Russian and native languages.
On September 24, it was held the solemn awarding ceremony of winners and prize-winners of contests on wushu-sanda. It is worth mentioning that in this kind of sports, the Turkmen residents won 2 bronze medals: Salaheddin Bairamov (weight class up to 65 kilograms) and Jennet Aynazarova (up to 56 kg) raised the third step of podium.
On this day, the Turkmen weightlifter Inoyat Jumayev (up to 85 kg) also demonstrated his skills. Our compatriot won the 6th place with result in sum of snatch 342 kg (155 snatches and 187 jerks).
The day before, another Turkmen weightlifter Rejepbay Rejepov was a step from medal, having become the fourth in the category up to 77 kg. His result was 345 kg in sum of snatch that became new national record.
