VI International Investment Forum of Turkmenistan was opened in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza”. It was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country.
About 150 delegates, representing the state and private structures from nearly 20 countries as well as authoritative international financial structures, large foreign companies have gathered in the conference hall of “Berkarar” hotel.
From the Turkmen party, the officials of sectoral ministries and departments, banks, different state organizations and production associations, core research institutes, Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan took part in the work of the forum.
Representatives of Asian Development Bank, department of Islamic Corporation for development of private sector, administration of Astrakhan oblast of the Russian Federation and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine delivered their reports at the plenary session.
Work of the sections “Banking and financial services of Turkmenistan, development of international trade” and “Investments in the sector of energy and industry of Turkmenistan” was held today as well. Within their framework, the forum participants have familiarized with the financial system, investment projects realized in the country, development of insurance sector as well as different sectors of national economy, including construction and architecture, textile industry.
Tomorrow, VI International Investment Forum will continue its work. Within its framework, it is held the bilateral meetings of the representatives of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan with the heads of foreign companies.
