The IV International Investment and Finance Exhibition opened in Beijing. The delegation of our country including the heads and leading specialists of a number of ministries, departments, state banks, as well as members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan participated in the economic forum.
The Director of the Investment and Finance Association and the Secretary General of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of the Government of the People's Republic of China and others attended the exhibition opening ceremony.
The large banking institutions, private shareholders, and financial agencies presented their exhibition at the Beijing National Agriculture Exhibition Centre. The main goal of the forum is to ensure the enhancement of the financial cooperation, and establish a platform for collaboration between financial institutions, enterprises and individuals.
Turkmenistan’s participation in the representative forum is aimed at offering new incentives and dynamics for development of the bilateral cooperation, including long-term trade and economic partnership between Turkmenistan and the people’s republic of China. Moreover, the forum opens up wide opportunities for attracting Chinese and other foreign investors to implementation of large-scale national investment projects, establishment of the attractive investment image of our country in the business environment of the People’s Republic of China, and increasing the inflow of the direct investments into prospective regional projects.
The stand of the Ministry of Industry demonstrates the achievements of the industry in production of the variety of high-quality construction materials. The exposition of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan introduces the visitors with the rich cultural heritage and ancient history of the Turkmen people. The exhibits include the national costumes decorated with hand-made embroideries, unique carpet articles, which are kept in the Main National Museum of the country.
The stand of the Turkmenhaly State Association that is decorated with hand-made masterpieces created by Turkmen carpet-weavers demonstrates the priceless heritage of the nation – beautiful Turkmen carpets and unsurpassed art of the carpet-weaving that is handed over from generation to generation. The exposition of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Tourism tells about the Avaza sea resort – a new rapidly developing centre of international tourism and the unique monuments of history and architecture as well as natural sights of our country.
The potential and products of almost all industries of the dynamically developing economy are showcased at the exhibition. Among exhibitors are the structural subdivisions of the fuel and energy complex of the country, in particular the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. The Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the Ministry of Communications, the Turkmenhovayollary State National Service, the State Committee for Sports demonstrate their achievements and prospective plans for development.
The State Food Industry Association of our country exhibits the variety of products. The Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan showcases the high-quality products that are of high demand on the world market. Among them are cotton yarn, knitwear and denim, various types of finished products.
Turkmen private entrepreneurs and manufacturers working in various spheres, including agriculture, food industry and construction also demonstrate their potential at the International Investment and Finance Exhibition.
