The International Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2014" and the 19th conference "International Cooperation in the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan: Potential, Achievements, Priorities" opened at the Exhibition Centre in Ashgabat. The forum is organized by the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of our country.
The prestigious oil and gas forum brought together over 600 participants representing more than 50 countries of the world. Among the exhibitors are the representatives of the authoritative international organisations, the world leading fuel and energy companies and core enterprises of our country. Companies from many countries all over the world and the branches of the fuel and energy complex of our country showcase their stands in the Exhibition Centre.
The cabinet ministers, heads of Mejlis, ministries and departments, public organizations as well as distinguished guests from foreign states and heads of the diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, specialists of the oil and gas industry as well as journalists attended the exhibition opening ceremony.
The products and services used in such spheres as exploration, production, purification, storage and transportation of hydrocarbon resources, deep-hole drilling, implementation of offshore projects, modernization of existing and construction of new pipelines, increase of capacities on processing oil and gas as well as progressive technologies and the state-of-the-art equipment produced by the world leading manufacturers are showcased in the exposition centre.
There is no doubt that the stands exhibited by the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan, the Turkmengas, Turkmennebit, Turkmennebitgasgurlushik State Concerns, Turkmengeology State Corporation, Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries and a number of other enterprises of the country will be of particular interest for the visitors.

The 19th conference "International Cooperation in the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan: Potential, Achievements, Priorities" started its work in the afternoon. The representative forum brings together the delegates from many countries, including the US, as well as the countries of Europe, Asia and the CIS. Among them are the specialists of the oil and gas industry, representatives of the producer factories, scientists, etc. Many delegations are led by hagh-ranking officials, heads of the relevant state structures.
The plenary session focused on the forecast of development of the global, regional and national oil and gas sector and the prospects for development of the oil and gas processing and petrochemical industries took place within the first day of the conference.
