On the eve of official visit of President of Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Turkmenistan, Turkmen-Kazakh business forum was held in the conference hall of “Mizan” business center. It was organized jointly by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and National Agency for export and investments “Kazneks Invest” (Republic of Kazakhstan).
A large delegation in composition of the representatives of governmental structures of Kazakhstan, sectoral departments, companies, medium and small entrepreneurship arrived in Ashgabat for participation in the forum.
At the forum, it was demonstrated a video reel about modern attainments of economic complex of Turkmenistan, priority trends of its socio-economic development.
In the course of view exchange, it was noted that over three tens of enterprises with participation of the Kazakh capital are functioning in Turkmenistan. The parties go on to expand steadily the interaction in many directions, particularly, in fuel-energy complex, transport and communication sphere, mechanical engineering, production of building materials, chemical and textile sectors.
Issues of cooperation in agro-industrial complex, including in seed farming, production of flour and baked products, micro- and bio-fertilizers became the topic for discussion. It was also expressed the interest in activation of business ties in the field of pharmaceutics.
Alongside with huge prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation in trade-economic sphere, it was emphasized the necessity of further strengthening of humanitarian ties – in the field of education, science and culture, tourism and sports, as well as in other trends, meeting the interests of friendly people.
More concrete discussion of joint projects and further prospects of mutually beneficial partnership was held during bilateral meetings of the Kazakh guests with the representatives of sectoral ministries and departments and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
