Turkmenistan team won another two bronze medals in the ITF Taekwondo World Cup, which is taking place in Minsk, Belarus these days. These medals belong to Muhammed Hudaiberdiev and Arslan Batyrov, who rose to the third step of the podium in the individual competitions in the 16-17-year age group in the under 51 kilogrammes and under 45 kilogrammes weight categories respectively.
This is the fifth medal won by Turkmen sportsmen at the World Cup in Minsk. Three medals – one gold and two bronze – were added to the receptacle of Turkmenistan team by Annamyrat Goshaniyazov, who gained a series of victories in the under 57 kilogramme weight category, and Gaigysyz Atabaev and Orazmurad Charyev achieved the ‘bronze’ success in complex exercises (toul).
Five medals, including a gold medal, is a quite good result, considering the fact that about 1,100 strongest Taekwondo practitioners of the planet arrived in the capital of Belarus from dozens of countries to win the World Cup.
