The Champion of Turkmenistan - Altyn Asyr FC and Turkmenistan's Cup holder and runner-up of the national Championship Ahal FC will compete for the AFC Challenge Cup.
According to the drawing held in the AFC headquarters, the both teams of our country will start their participation in the second important Asian club tournament in the preliminary round: Ahal FC will host the Champion of the Kyrgyz Republic Dordoy FC from Bishkek on February 9, 2015 and Altyn Asyr FC will host Al Sakr (Yemen) on February 10.
On February 17, the winner of the first match will play versus Fandja FC (Oman) in Oman and the winner of the Altyn Asyr FC – Al Sakr FC will play versus the team of Bahrain – TBA FC.
