On April 2, 2015, International water forum “Vital issues of rational and efficient use of water resources and careful preservation of environment” will be held in Ashgabat.

According to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, its organization and holding was entrusted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Water Economy and Ministry of Nature Protection of Turkmenistan. The forum is held with a view of rational and efficient use in our country of water resources, careful preservation of environment as well as further expansion of cooperation in this trend with the international organizations and foreign states.

It is also envisaged the trip of forum participants to the Turkmen Lake “Altyn asyr”.
