The Turkish Export Products Exhibition started its work in Ashgabat. The specialized economic exposition that is traditionally organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and Meridýen Uluslararasi Fuarçilik Turkish Company provides a platform for demonstration of a wide range of products from our partners and exchange the most advanced developments and technologies.
A large delegation of more than 400 representatives of government agencies, industrialists and entrepreneurs from Turkey arrived in the Turkmen capital to take part in the exhibition, which is held in our country for the sixth time. Over 160 leading Turkish companies including our old partners, which have great experience of working in the priority sectors of the national economy of Turkmenistan as well as more than 70 companies demonstrating their interest to explore the promising Turkmen market showcase their export potential at the Sergi Kosgi Exhibition Centre.
The Chairperson of the national parliament, high-ranking officials, heads and representatives of ministries and departments of our country, diplomatic missions and international organisations accredited in Turkmenistan as well as journalists attended the exposition opening ceremony.
The diversified exposition showcases a broad spectrum of export products, technologies and services offered by Turkish producers and entrepreneurs including heavy engineering products, equipment and components for industries and agribusiness, construction materials, spare parts, home appliances and electronics, furniture, textiles, detergents, perfumes, stationery, various food stuffs.
Within three days, Turkish businessmen will have meetings with their Turkmen partners to consider the opportunities on building up cooperation in the sphere of production of construction materials and equipment, consumer goods, etc. In this regard, Turkish companies will make presentations on their production potential, know how, and work at the international market. Thus, representatives and specialists of various industries of the national economy of our country and Turkmen entrepreneurs will have a chance to discuss the priority areas of mutually beneficial cooperation with their Turkish colleagues.
