The State Committee for Tourism of Turkmenistan organised career development courses for specialists, administrators of Ashgabat hotels. The courses are delivered by experienced trainers – scientists and specialists in such spheres as tourism, linguistics, history, ecology, law and other areas. The training is held at the Ak Altyn and Grand Türkmen Hotels.

Besides specific topics related to the tourism industry, in particular the standards of hotel and tourism services and hotel business, the training programme includes themes that are closely linked to tourism. Among them are the natural and historical sights of Turkmenistan, modern information technologies in hotel business and language proficiency.

It is also planned to organise career development courses for catering trade specialists, chefs, waiters and hotel service staff.

Courses and seminars are held with the aim to ensure the high level of organisation of the 2017 Asian Games, prepare specialists for the hotel and tourism industries and high-class guide-interpreters.
