A regular number of international economic-financial magazine “Turcomoney”, being published in Turkey, devoted to our country a large section, which was called with common headline “Turkmenistan – a bright star of the Central Asia”.
In the introductory part, there is a brief information about modern Turkmenistan, reforms, being realized under leadership of the head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Special publication entitled “World leader of economic growth” was devoted to the development of Turkmen economy, which is characterized in the last years with high macroeconomic indices in all sectors.
Reportage from festive events taken place in Ashgabat in the last year on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the country’s independence was also presented for the readers of international magazine. On the pages of publication, the foreign guests, including official representatives of Turkey, representatives of business circles, foreign ambassadors share with their impressions about Turkmenistan, prospects of international partnership.
Several articles of wide subsection called “Historical meeting of strategic partners” were devoted to the visit of President of Republic of Turkey Rejep Tayip Erdogan paid to Turkmenistan in November of the last year. As it is noted in the edition, the Republic of Turkey attaches great significance to the cooperation with Turkmen state. The fact that Turkmenistan became the first among Central Asian countries whereto the head of Turkey paid official visit as the President of Republic of Turkey is a vivid evidence of it.
In the publication “Revival of ancient Silk Road”, it is told about International transport forum held in our country in the last year. In particular, it is published key fragments of speech of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov about foreign-policy strategy of Turkmenistan, where important role is attached to the creation of modern transport infrastructure. It is opened a series of detailed selection of publications about modern Turkmenistan. In particular, the issue tells about “open doors” policy, being successfully pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, status of permanent neutrality delegated to our country by the UN General Assembly in 1995. As the authors emphasize, Turkmenistan was able to establish mutually beneficial and equitable relations not only with states of the region, but also with large world states as Russia, China, USA, as well as with countries of the European Union.
Publication also familiarizes the readers with international initiatives advanced by the Turkmen state, including in the field of global energy, with realization process of the large energy and transport-communication projects, international transit and transport corridors.
