Briefing was held in the Turkmen hall of Palace of Nations in Geneva (the Swiss Confederation) on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, being celebrated in this year.
Heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Switzerland as well as the representatives of the authoritative international organizations were invited for the meeting organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the Year of neutrality and peace.
The 12th December of 1995 is significant date in the newest world history and international diplomacy taking into account the fact that independent Turkmenistan became the first neutral state officially recognized by the United Nations Organization.
The meeting participants were familiarized with plan of events timed to upcoming in December of this year important date planned to be held both in our country and in abroad.
